How to choose the best photo for an AI hairstyle preview
Learn what kind of photo works best for Hairstyle AI uploads, including lighting, angles, file type, and what to avoid.
Use a front-facing photo
Choose a photo where your face is clearly visible and looking toward the camera. Side angles and cropped faces make face-shape detection less reliable.
The app works best when your forehead, cheeks, jawline, and chin are visible enough for the scan to read your proportions.
Avoid hats, caps, and heavy shadows
The scanner may reject images with hats or caps because the hairline and upper face are hidden.
Natural light is best. Strong shadows, dark rooms, sunglasses, and filters can make the generated collage less realistic.
Use supported image files
PNG and JPEG images are supported. Keep the photo under 10 MB so uploads finish faster.
If an upload fails, reconnect to the internet, choose a clearer image, and try again from the same screen.
